CARTA Sport — How to Clean
Regular cleaning keeps your CARTA Sport performing at its best. Clean the glass top and atomizer after every few sessions, and do a full clean weekly if you're a regular user.
Cleaning the Glass Top
- 1Remove the glass top
Pull straight up and out of the CONNECT. Use upward pressure with a slight sideways motion if it feels snug.
- 2Soak in isopropyl alcohol
Submerge the glass top in isopropyl alcohol for a few minutes to loosen residue.
- 3Rinse with water
Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- 4Air dry
Let the glass top air dry completely before reinstalling.
Cleaning the Atomizer
- 1Remove the atomizer
Turn counterclockwise to unscrew. If it's stuck, run a 15-second session at the lowest temp preset to loosen residue, then try again.
- 2Soak in isopropyl alcohol
Submerge the Intelli-Core atomizer in isopropyl alcohol for 10 minutes.
- 3Do not rinse with water
Skip the water rinse — water can damage the atomizer. Isopropyl alcohol only.
- 4Air dry
Allow the atomizer to air dry for 1–2 hours before reinstalling.
Cleaning the CONNECT
- 1Remove the CONNECT
Pull the front edge up, then lift from the center to remove. (See the CONNECT installation guide for details.)
- 2Wipe with an isopropyl alcohol cloth
Wipe all surfaces of the CONNECT with an iso-dampened cloth.
- 3Swab the reclaim channels
Use a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to clean the reclaim channels and airpath interior.
- 4Air dry before reinstalling
Let the CONNECT air dry completely before snapping it back into the device.
Reassembly
- 1Reinstall the CONNECT
Align the airpath, snap the back end in first, then press the front edge down.
- 2Reinstall the atomizer
Thread clockwise until snug. Do not overtighten.
- 3Reinstall the glass top
Set it into the CONNECT and press down until seated.
