CARTA Sport — Installing the CONNECT

The CONNECT is the silicone airpath piece that sits at the base of the CARTA Sport. It directs airflow through the device and fits the glass top. Here's how to safely remove and reinstall it.

Removing the CONNECT

   Remove the glass top and atomizer

   Pull the glass top straight up and out. Then turn the atomizer counterclockwise to unscrew it.

   Pull the front up

   Grip the front edge of the CONNECT and gently pull it upward.

   Lift from the center

   Once the front is free, lift the CONNECT from the center to remove it completely from the base.

Installing the CONNECT

   Align the airpath with the base

   Orient the CONNECT so the airpath channel lines up with the corresponding port on the CARTA Sport base.

   Snap the back end first

   Press the back edge of the CONNECT down until it snaps into place.

   Push the front down

   Press the front edge down firmly until it's fully seated and flush with the base.

   Reinstall the glass top and atomizer

   Set the glass top into the CONNECT. Then thread the atomizer back in clockwise until snug — do not overtighten.
