CARTA OG — LED Error Codes

The CARTA OG uses LED flash sequences to communicate device status and errors. Here is what each sequence means.

Error code reference

• 3x Yellow — Atomizer short circuit. Clean the atomizer connections and ensure no flooding.
• 5x Yellow — Open circuit. Atomizer coil is burned out or not making contact. Try reseating or replacing the atomizer.
• 7x Red — Thermal protection triggered. Device has overheated. Power off, let cool 5–10 minutes, then restart.
• 8x White — Battery/power issue. Check charge level and clean connection points.
• 3x Orange — Low battery warning. Charge the device.
• 8x Red — Charging fault. Try a different USB-C cable or adapter.
