CARTA Classic — Using the Everlast Herb Atomizer

Updated Jun 1, 2024 3 min read

The Everlast Herb Atomizer lets you vaporize dry herb through your CARTA Classic. Note: The Everlast atomizer is discontinued but still fully supported.

Step-by-step

  1. 1
    Grind your herb

Grind to a medium consistency — not too fine, not chunky. Even grind = even vaporization.

  2. 2
    Pack the chamber

Load 0.5–0.7g of ground herb into the Everlast Atomizer. Avoid packing too tightly — the herb needs airflow to vaporize properly.

  3. 3
    Set temperature

Use temperatures between 380–420°F (193–215°C). Use the V Browser app (www.focusv.app) to set custom temperatures below the built-in presets.

  4. 4
    Preheat the atomizer

Double-click the power button to start a session and allow the atomizer to reach the set temperature. Preheating ensures consistent, flavorful vapor.

  5. 5
    Inhale slowly

Take long, slow draws from the mouthpiece. Pulling too hard reduces vapor quality. Slow inhalation lets vapor stack in the chamber.

  6. 6
    Allow vapor to stack

After each draw, wait 5–10 seconds before the next. This allows vapor to accumulate in the chamber for a denser hit.

  7. 7
    Stir the herb

Between draws, use a dab tool (stir tip) to gently stir the herb. This exposes unvaporized material and extends the session.

  8. 8
    Check herb color

Vaporized herb turns brown — this is normal and indicates effective vaporization. Black or charred herb means combustion occurred — lower the temperature.

  9. 9
    Discard AVB

When the session is done, use a dab tool to stir and scrape out the spent material, or remove the atomizer from the unit, flip it upside down, and tap out. The browned material is AVB (already vaped bud) and can be saved for edibles or other uses.
