CARTA Classic — Everlast Atomizer Calibration
The CARTA Classic uses resistance-based temperature control. If the device is over- or under-heating, manually recalibrating the Everlast Atomizer resets the resistance baseline so the device heats accurately.
Before you start
- An external thermometer or IR temperature reader is required to verify calibration
- The device should be at room temperature — as close to 77°F (25°C) as possible before calibrating
- Ensure the atomizer is clean and connections are free of debris
Calibration steps
- 1Power off and prepare the device
Ensure the CARTA Classic is powered off and cooled to room temperature. Remove any attachments except the Everlast Atomizer.
- 2Inspect the atomizer and connections
Gently unscrew the top cap of the atomizer to inspect the heating chamber. Check that the atomizer is securely threaded into the base. Clean any debris from the threading or connection pins with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol if needed. Dry completely.
- 3Power on the device
Press the power button 5 times to power on the CARTA Classic.
- 4Access calibration mode
Press the power button 4 times consecutively. On the 4th press, hold the button down until the device enters calibration mode. The LEDs will indicate calibration mode has been activated.
- 5Follow on-device prompts
Watch the LED patterns for guidance. The device will automatically adjust resistance based on the atomizer's current state. Follow any specific LED sequences indicated.
- 6Complete and verify
Release the power button once calibration is complete. The LEDs will confirm successful calibration.
- 7Test the calibration
Reassemble the atomizer and fire a session. Use your external temperature reader to verify the actual temperature matches the target. If not within range, repeat the calibration process.
