V Browser — Bluetooth Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing difficulty connecting your Focus V device to the V Browser via Bluetooth, this troubleshooting guide will help you identify and resolve the issue. Whether you are using the AERIS, CARTA 2, or CARTA OG/Classic, the following steps will assist you.

1. Check Bluetooth Settings

  • On your phone, laptop, or desktop, open the Bluetooth settings.
  • Verify that Bluetooth is enabled and visible for pairing.

2. Clear Cache and Data

  • If Bluetooth is enabled but the connection is still not established, clear the cache and data of the V Browser.
  • On your device, navigate to App Settings and find the V Browser.
  • Select "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data".
  • Restart the V Browser and attempt to connect again.

3. Try Another Device

  • If the connection issue persists, try connecting your Focus V device to a different phone, desktop, or laptop.
  • This helps determine whether the problem lies with your original device.
  • Follow the pairing process on the new device to see if the Bluetooth connection succeeds.

4. Ensure Device Compatibility

  • Confirm that your smartphone or computer is compatible with the V Browser.
  • Check the compatibility requirements on the V Browser app store page.
  • Ensure your device meets the minimum requirements for running the V Browser.

5. Update Firmware

  • Ensure your Focus V device's firmware is up to date.
  • Open the V Browser, navigate to www.focusv.app, and connect your device — you will be prompted to update the firmware if an update is available.
  • Install any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.

6. Contact Support
